Ace GE-660-LE-EC Centrifugal Pump
The Ace GE-660-LE-EC centrifugal pump combines high flow, strong pressure and enhanced corrosion protection for demanding agricultural, turf, deicing and commercial spraying systems. Its maximum ratings of 110 GPM and 120 PSI make it suitable for high-volume spraying, liquid transfer, tank agitation and other professional applications.
The “EC” designation identifies the E-coated version of the GE-660. Ace applies the protective coating to the cast-iron pump housing to provide additional protection against corrosion, particularly when the pump is exposed to chlorides. This makes the GE-660-LE-EC especially useful for compatible deicing and agricultural applications where standard unfinished cast iron may experience accelerated corrosion.
A thermoplastic impeller with a stainless-steel hub comes standard. The thermoplastic construction provides improved chemical resistance, smooth internal flow passages and reduced corrosion at the engine-shaft connection. A cast-iron impeller is available as an option for applications requiring it.
The “LE” designation means less engine. The pump is supplied with the components required to assemble it onto a compatible 5.5 HP gas engine with a 3/4" keyed shaft, but the engine itself is not included.
Important: This listing is for the E-coated pump kit only. A gas engine and external system components are not included.

What Does E-Coated Mean?
E-coating, or electrophoretic coating, applies a protective finish to the cast-iron pump components. The coating reaches complex surfaces and provides an additional barrier between the cast iron and the pumped liquid.
Ace specifically recommends its E-coat option for improved corrosion prevention with chlorides. It can provide an advantage in compatible deicing, anti-icing and other chloride-exposure applications. acepumps.com
E-coating improves corrosion resistance, but it does not make the pump universally compatible with every chemical. Chemical compatibility must still be verified before use.
Common Applications
The Ace GE-660-LE-EC may be used in properly configured systems for:
- Deicing and anti-icing sprayers
- Agricultural crop sprayers
- Large turf and lawn-care sprayers
- Commercial spray equipment
- Boom spraying
- High-volume broadcast spraying
- Tank agitation
- Compatible liquid fertilizer application
- Compatible herbicide and pesticide application
- Nurse trucks and tender units
- Compatible liquid transfer
- Custom skid-mounted spraying systems
- Replacement pump installations
Engine Fitment and Compatibility
The GE-660-LE-EC is designed for a compatible gas engine with:
- Approximately 5.5 HP output
- 3/4" keyed output shaft
- Compatible shaft length and keyway
- Compatible engine mounting pattern
- Suitable operating-speed range
The impeller mounts directly onto the keyed engine shaft. Do not assume that every 5.5 HP engine with a 3/4" shaft will fit. Verify the engine’s shaft diameter, shaft length, keyway, mounting pattern, rotation and operating speed before ordering.
Ace offers the GE-660 mounted to a 4.8 net HP Honda engine, confirming the general engine class used with this pump. www.acepumps.com
