ACE GE-85-LE centrifugal pump (Less engine)

The Ace Pumps GE-85-LE combines compact size, corrosion-resistant construction and dependable centrifugal-pump performance for smaller spraying and liquid-transfer systems. It is rated for maximum performance of 24 GPM and 65 PSI, making it suitable for applications requiring more pressure than a basic transfer pump without the size and weight of a large cast-iron pump.

The pump’s tall-blade impeller is designed to develop higher pressure at standard engine speeds. Its impeller mounts directly to the engine shaft, creating a compact drive arrangement without a separate shaft coupling.

The pump body, mounting bracket and impeller are constructed from polypropylene for improved resistance to corrosion. A standard carbon/ceramic mechanical seal with Viton elastomers provides compatibility with many commonly used agricultural and turf-care products. An optional silicon-carbide seal configuration is available for more demanding applications.

The “LE” designation means less engine. The GE-85-LE includes the pump and assembly hardware required to mount it to a compatible engine with a 3/4" keyed shaft, but the engine itself is not included.

Engine Fitment and Compatibility

The GE-85-LE mounts directly to a compatible gas engine with:

• A 3/4" keyed output shaft
• Compatible shaft length and keyway
• Compatible mounting-bolt pattern
• Adequate horsepower for the required operating point
• An operating-speed range suitable for the pump

Ace offers complete GE-85 packages with 3.2 HP Honda and 4.5 HP Kohler engines, but engine compatibility should be determined by shaft dimensions, mounting pattern, operating speed and available horsepower—not horsepower alone. 

Do not assume that every engine with a 3/4" shaft will fit. Confirm the shaft length, key size, bolt pattern and rotation before ordering.
