A clean strainer is key to successful spraying and pump longevity. Pump and spraying problems can be often traced back to a malfunctioning strainer. A common example often seen is a pump that will not build pressure due to a clogged strainer screen. Preventive maintenance is as simple as cleaning out the screen often along with replacing damaged or worn o-rings. Below are common strainer parts from Banjo, Arag, and Teejet.
