The Udor 0007.33 Gear Reduction Oil Seal is an original equipment replacement component designed for compatible Udor diaphragm- and plunger-pump gearboxes.

Gasoline engines typically operate at a higher RPM than many Udor pumps are designed to run. A gear reduction assembly lowers engine speed and transfers power to the pump through a series of gears and shafts. The 0007.33 seal is installed around a rotating gearbox shaft to keep the required gear lubricant inside the housing.

As the sealing lip wears or hardens, lubricant may begin leaking around the shaft. Continued operation with insufficient gear oil can cause accelerated bearing, shaft, and gear wear.
