Gregson-Clark DI-300-SS Liquid De-Icing Sprayer

300-Gallon | Hose Reel Equipped | No Boom

The Gregson-Clark DI-300-SS is a compact, job-ready 300-gallon liquid de-icing sprayer designed for contractors and municipalities who need reliable performance in a truck-mounted package. Equipped with a hose reel for spot treatment and sidewalk applications, this system is ready to work right out of the box—with the flexibility to add a spray boom as your operation grows.

This package features a 300-gallon low-profile polyethylene tank with UV stabilizers and an 8" lid, plumbed with a 2" anti-vortex suction line for consistent flow and a quick-connect fill line for fast loading. The complete unit measures approximately 76" L x 60" W x 43.75" H and is sized to fit full-size pickup trucks with 6½-foot or longer beds. A heavy-duty stainless steel frame with integrated fork pockets allows for easy loading, unloading, and long-term durability in harsh winter environments.

Powering the DI-300-SS is a dependable Honda GX160 5.5 HP engine paired with an Ace GE-660-EC centrifugal pump. This E-coated pump delivers up to 110 GPM at a maximum of 115 PSI, providing excellent corrosion resistance and strong, consistent pressure for hose-based liquid application. The pumping system is plumbed with a high-flow filter assembly and a stainless steel, liquid-filled pressure gauge for accurate monitoring and dependable operation.

The unit comes standard with a Hannay 1520 manual rewind hose reel featuring upgraded stainless steel liquid-handling components for superior corrosion resistance. Included are 50 feet of ½" high-pressure spray hose and a Chemlawn spray gun with a white nozzle rated at 4 GPM at 40 PSI—ideal for sidewalks, entrances, and targeted de-icing applications.

While this model ships without a spray boom, it can be paired with any Gregson-Clark de-icing spray boom and customized to control up to three lane sections. Each boom section is independently controlled using 1" full-port Banjo valves, and an in-cab switch console provides simple on/off control for each section.

Pricing for this model includes a three-valve section. Single- or double-valve configurations are available—call for pricing.

Additional Accessories

RoadMaster De-icing Rate Controller

Rate Control
Rate control provides precise application rates that will adjust as the operator increases or decreases speed. We use the Micro-Trak RoadMaster controller which allows for up to 3 boom sections. The monitor also keeps track of overall product usage .

Stainless Steel Flow Meter

Flow Meter
Flow meters can be added to any system to monitor overall application rates. We use the Micro-Trak FlowMate system which consist of the turbine and the control box. The box is kept in the cab of the vehicle out of the elements. The control box can be used to record a running total or can be cleared by job for accurate measurements.

Light Kit
The 300-gallon deicing sprayer is equipped to accept 2 led spot lights which provide light to the boom section making it easier on the operator to observe flow to the boom.

Deep Cell Battery
Deep Cell Battery
A dedicated deep cell battery can be added to the unit to allow the de-icer to be a self contained unit. Standard configuration use the trucks battery to power the boom valves. A deep cell battery allows the unit to be easily moved to a new truck in the event of a truck malfunction.

Honda GX160 Electric Start
Electric Start Engine
Electric start VS pull start is based on personal preference. All Gregson-Clark De-Icing sprayers can be upgraded to electric start engines.
